How to get the longest wear out of your eyelash extensions
Keep your eyelashes dry for at least 7 hours – 24hrs is ideal.
No swimming, steam rooms, saunas and facials for 48 hrs.
Use only water based make up removers and cleansers. Oil based cream products will weaken the adhesive bond.
A foaming lash cleanser is a MUST and should be used daily to prevent debris build up on the lash line and eye infections. Thirty percent of us get Blepharitis, which is a condition that can cause acute infection on and redness because of the oil glands along the lash line. It is very important to keep the lash line clear daily even if no make up is worn and more especially if it is.
Avoid exfoliants around the eye. Chemical defoliants like AHA’s and Glycolic Acid cleansers.
Absolutely No mascara on volume set extensions and only eyelash extension safe mascara on the tips of classic sets.
No eyelash curlers
Avoid rubbing, picking and touching your eyelash extensions. Be aware of picking up this habit subconsciously if you’re stressed or anxious.
Use a tissue or paper towel after cleansing lashes and brush through with your lash spoolie.
Let your lash stylist know immediately if you experience any discomfort or irritation.
Don’t forget to book your eyelash extension refills at 2-4 week intervals in order to maintain the fullness of your eyelash extensions. Most clients book in at 3 week intervals.
